After producing hundreds of corporate videos and commercials for happy clients in the Coachella Valley and across the country, Point7West has distilled the video production process down to a streamlined, simplified science.

  • Step 1: Meet / Talk Step 1: Meet / Talk

    Point7West will meet with you to discuss your corporate video or commercial needs in detail. We call the corporate videos we make “image films.“ Our goal is to get a thorough understanding of your business and your business objectives: this includes learning about your brand, your goals, your story, and your vision for the company. We’ll also nail down the piece’s final usage requirements, budget, timeline, and other parameters.

  • Step 2: Proposal Step 2: Proposal

    Point7West will give you a project quote for your corporate video or commercial, along with a detailed budget and a timeline for the project. We’ll confirm the content and the messages that the video or commercial must include. We’ll go over the proposal with you and answer any questions you have, and make adjustments as needed.

  • Step 3: Creative Direction Step 3: Creative Direction

    After we get your signoff on the video proposal and quote, we’ll get creative. We’ll come up with a group of the best creative ideas for telling your story, using the full range of tools we have at our disposal. We’ll look at your company like no one ever has, and find new, dynamic ways to make your message move, and grab their attention.

    Once we get your sign-off on the most effective creative direction for your corporate video production, our writers will create voice-over narration scripts, if needed.

  • Step 4: Pre-Production Step 4: Pre-Production

    At this point in the process, you’ll have a good idea of what to expect in the final video (image film or commercial), and so will we. Pre-production for a video or commercial shoot entails a lot of internal prep and planning on our part, including: logistics, certifications and insurance, casting talent and voice-over artists if needed, location scouting and securing, preparing shoot schedules, travel planning, and more.

  • Step 5: Production Step 5: Production

    This is where all that hard work we did in pre-production phase pays off. It’s also the fun part, as we hit the road for locations near and far with our production crew. We set up, shoot, and finish your video or commercial on schedule -- with none of the production problems that tend to plague other, less experienced crews. We even leave our locations cleaner than they were when we arrived.

  • Step 6: Post-Production Step 6: Post-Production

    Once shooting is over, we edit the footage and finalize the video or commercial. This part of the process may include: editorial, motion-graphic design, audio design and sound mix, voice-over recording, additional writing, and color correction. You will of course get an opportunity to review the video and work closely with us during post-production. This is crucial, since we want you to be delighted with the final product.
